No Barriers to Employment Training Activities in Italy

The partner Polo Europeo della Conoscenza, from Italy, organised three training activities for teachers and the community.

The first training activity, which was open to the community, took place between March 09 and 23, 2024, at the Luigi Carnacina Hotel School in Bardolino. In total, 24 participants learned about baking and confectionery.

The second training activity was aimed at training professors on the individualised path of the PCTO (Transversal Skills and Orientation Pathways) and the tools to be used. The course, that happened between September 10 and 30, 2024 in collaboration with the Orientaverona network, ASL 9 Scaligera -SIL (Job Placement Service), and the Veneto Asperger Group, intended to delve deeper into the subject of the individual project, with a view to accompanying children with disabilities from school into the world of work or, in general, ‘after school’. In total, 25 people participated.

The third activity was aimed at young people with disabilities and consisted on acquiring gardening competencies. The course happened between December 05 and 26, 2024 and had a total of 5 participants.
